Come out for monthly happy hour on Thursday, July 18th from 5-7 pm!
“Joining us this month will be jewelry maker Morgan Mehalic. Her most recent line is made out of strictly recycled materials, natural stones, and scrap metal. She will have custom pieces for sale and will also have deconstructed pieces that attendees can choose stones to be set in right then and there.
For any pieces sold Morgan will be donating a portion of the cost to American Forest. They are a non-profit organization that plants trees in natural ecosystems like mountain ranges and watersheds that deliver many benefits to water, climate action, wildlife, and people.
Cynthia Rowley Comes Home to Barrington and Inspires the Community
Hand painted window decal created by my mom, Fran Mehalic and me. This widow decal is on the front of the Barrington White House doors for the event “Project Rowley” featuring fashion designer Cynthia Rowley.
Show of Hands
I was one of the fashion designers who took part in Project Rowley and took third place in the competition. Barrington White House provided the fabric to create a garment. The event was held at the Barrington White House. I didn’t only make a dress, I made a sign that stood on a eisal outside of the front doors and my mom, Fran Mehalic and I created a widow decal for the front doors
